FIRST TIME AS A PARENT

Holding your own baby for the first time is undescribable! I was in love instantly! I held her in my arms, afraid to move her. She was 5lbs. 9oz. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen! And she was so tiny I was afraid I would hurt her easily.

The second day, I finally decided I had to see her out from under her blanket. So I layed her down on my hospital bed and opened the blanket from her tiny body. I gasped as I saw how small she was! I didn’t know a human being could be so little! And I didn’t know I could love so completely and unconditionally.

Every child I had after that was the same experience all over again. Those five days were the happiest days of my life!

I’m very blessed to have five wonderful, caring, loving children!

Looking at all these baby pictures, really makes me miss those days!

Being a parent is one of the hardest, most challenging, most rewarding jobs in the world!
