ERASELETS – HELP END WORLD HUNGER ($1 Each)

 ERASELETS

The Bracelet that Erases!

FREE SHIPPING

starts Sunday, April 1st

Bryan Ricci was homeless when he was younger.  He got a job waiting tables after a while and turned his life around.

Now Ricci, 31, is intent on helping others avoid the path he took.

He invented a rubber wristband that doubles as an eraser. The wristband, called an Eraselet, has been used as a marketing tool promoting slogans such as “Erase Hunger” and, for the Metropolitan Homelessness Commission, “End Homelessness”.

Through a partnership with the Metropolitan Homelessness Commission, the Eraselets will be given to volunteers at Nashville Homeless Connect. This is an event in which advocates for the homeless, provide basic services and information about housing to the city’s homeless.

He came up with the idea when his 10 year old daughter kept losing her eraser.  So he tied one to her wrist.  And now, we have The Eraselets!

Today, there are two kinds of Eraselets, both featuring Scripture, being sold through LifeWay. A third is being sold at Dollar General Market.

Spokeswoman Judith Tackett, said the commission is planning to give Eraselets to runners who sign up for the Run for the Homeless 5K on May 12.

Bryan Ricci says if the wristband helps one person it will have been worth it!

These come in many different designs; animals, spring, creatures and more!

Very Cute!  love these!!

Ten percent of proceeds go to Erase World Hunger, a non-profit organization the Riccis started to help the homeless.

You can help to erase by purchasing “Erase ” eraselets.   When you purchase an”Erase World Hunger” Eraselet, 100% of the net profits go to

Erase World Hunger!

REVIEW OF LI’L PUFFS (GIVEAWAY APRIL 1ST)

♥♥I received a few different flavors of Li’l Puffs to .  I loved them!  I think my favorite was the pineapple and the raspberry.  It’s really hard to pick just one.

Li’l Puffs are completely homemade artisanal .  They have changed into a delectable gourmet treat.  They are made with all natural ingredients, like fruit puree.

They are a delightful melt-in-your-mouth treat!   Li’l Puffs are all made from scratch without any artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

AND they are FAT FREE and GLUTEN FREE!

Their marshmallows aren’t ordinary marshmallows that you find at your local grocery stores. Have you ever had passion fruit marshmallows or mango marshmallows? They offer marshmallows in a variety of flavors to delight your taste buds.

The marshmallows come in 7 flavors:

  • Strawberry
  • Raspberry
  • Mango
  • Passion Fruit
  • Pineapple
  • Chocolate
  • Vanilla

Fresh fruit puree is used to make their fruit-flavored marshmallows.  They use premium chocolate from the local Bay Area chocolate company, Guittard, to make chocolate marshmallows. The vanilla marshmallows are flavored with Nielsen-Massey vanilla extract.

We all love rice krispie treats, right?  Have you ever thought of raspberry ones?  And can you imagine putting some of these in hot chocolate?  Scrumptious!

(Open to U.S. and Canada)

The Spring Buzz Hop is hosted by Sweep Tight and Just Married with Coupons and the Grand Prize is sponsored by BeeSavy. Save Time, Save Money, Make Money. See what the buzz is about at BeeSavy.

I have 2 prizes: Open to U.S.

1. Your choice at GO FREE PANTS ($75 Value)

They are having a , if you would like to just go buy!!

GO FREE PANTS

were Designed By a Woman, For Women!

I picked a pair of tan capris for this . Go Free Pants are designed with a smooth cotton panel sewn right into them. No under garment is needed and there’s no uncomfortable cross seam.

Tina Ketchie Stearns designed these with comfort and style in mind. When she was growing up, her mother always told her, the less you wear down there, the better. As far as bladder and yeast infections go.

When I put the capris on I was pleasantly surprised. They were a lot softer than I thought they would be. The material is a cotton twill and 3% spandex. They are so comfortable! It felt like I was wearing my pajamas! There’s a button at the waist, and also a hook, which keeps them smooth across the front.

Another great thing about Go Free Pants is, there’s no panty line! I love that aspect about them and the narrow, straight legs are slimming.

They also have business pants, velveteen dress pants, cordoury pants, and jeans.

Right now, the code “MARCHMADNESS” will get you 50% off of Elizabeth and Melanie capris.

Another awesome thing about them is they donate a percentage of their profits to Hospice and the Cancer Society!

I received a pair of these capris for review. All opinions are my own, honest ones.

2. Your choice at LUCKY PUPPY ($26-35 Value)

Size 0-Infants – XL Adult

Lucky Puppy Online has a collection of “puppy inspired” clothing. From a paw print onesie to a baseball cap to a t-shirt for adults.

They have a fabulous line of apparel for infants, children, adults and even a little something for Your “lucky puppy”.

Sandi Hochman, founder of Lucky Puppy, had an adopted dog, when she was young, Maddie. That’s when she began her compassion for helping dogs. She decided to create a line of clothing so people could show their love for their pets. And donate a percentage of her profits to rescues, shelters and other non-profit agencies.

For review, I received the Lucky Puppy Wings T-shirt. This shirt is adorable! We love it! The shirt is cotton and keeps you very cool. It’s great for warm weather. There’s no tag on the neck. Children love that! So do I for that matter! The shirt is very soft and comfortable.

We love the “wings” on the puppy. We call it an angel. And the heart over the eye is “love”. All in all it’s a fabulous little shirt. We all really love it!

I did receive an item for review and all the opinions are all my own.

OUR KIDS LIVE IN AN “INSTANT” WORLD

Do your expect to get things instantly?  Do they have any patience?  Are they happy to wait until the meals are cooked, wait until you have time to drive to the movie store?  Do they have patience to save up money for that must-have video game?
We live in a world where we can instantly get whatever we want almost the exact moment we want it.  We have microwaves where we can instantly cook pizza, a  whole dinner, (well tv dinners, not so good really), instant oatmeal, instant soup and hundreds of other things.
Or we can just pull up to a drive-thru and instantly, (well hopefully quick) get food.  We’ve all done this on those busy days.  Or maybe we just don’t feel like cooking.  I know I do that!
So our kids are just used to eating right when hunger strikes.  So why would they want to wait until we cook the meals?!
When they want to watch a movie, they can either go to instant access on Netflix, the DVR, the computer, or rent one on the tv.   There’s no need to go out and drive to the movie store.  I mean that takes a few minutes, right?  They can get a movie instantly right at home.
If they want to watch a certain tv show they can instantly watch any cable channel or shows they have taped on the DVR, and watch them on the iphone, computers, and tablets.
Sometimes kids do have to wait and save up money to buy that video game.  You know, that one they can’t live without that all their friends have?  But they can usually, instantly play a demo at least, on the internet, or rent it from the movie store.  And since patience isn’t always their best quality, they ask to borrow from us, or maybe do the dishes, for that extra $10.  And to that, I say “I want paid for the chores I do! Wow, I could get rich”!  Especially, if I got $10 for dishes!  Gee, what would sweeping and mopping the floors be worth??

With all their iphones, ipods, tablets and computers they can instantly read about, listen to, laugh at, and watch anything, anytime!  They instantly have access to the world!
Having said all this, us parents use “instant” in our lives too.  Especially, on those busy days where there just aren’t enough hours!  Which, for me is about every day!
I think we (at least I) should try to not do some many things “instantly” and teach my children more patience!
