The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Couponing is a very informative, easy read. The author, Rachel Singer Gordon, is a blogger, like me! She writes at MashUpMom.com.
When I first started couponing about 9 months ago, I just cut them from the Sunday newspaper. Then I saw the show, Extreme Couponing. Well, I wanted to do what they were doing! So I did some research and figured out I couldn’t really do that. But I did find places online to get more coupons.
And then just recently, I got to read the Complete Idiot’s Guide to Couponing. It has really helped me. There were things I didn’t understand, like the drug store deals, and now I get it!
The book teaches how to find coupons in so many places. There’s more than I ever would have thought of.
It shows how to stack coupons and then go for items on sale. And make out your shopping list around them. You can even earn money back from shopping! And this book explains that. It tells how to find coupons and deals for your own city.
The book explains how to get multiple coupons for one certain item. And buy your favorite things, never having to pay full price and not run out.
Organizing your coupons is very important. She really helped me with this part too. There are several ways to go about it. It has the latest information on deal sites, rebates and other online sources.
This book has everything, from the beginning of finding the coupons, to cashing them in at the register.
I would recommend this book to anyone who coupons, first timers and even those who have been doing it for a while. You can always use a refresher.
