Candy Corn Cookies – Easy To Make
These really taste good! My whole family likes them!
These are the ingredients you need.
Sugar Cookie Mix (or homemade, of course)
1/2 C Nestle Chocolate Chips
Margarine (According to directions)
Orange and Red Food Coloring
It’s imortant to use margarine and not butter, so they don’t spread out in the oven.
Mix your sugar cookie dough with egg and margarine in a big bowl
Divide it into thirds
Melt the Chocolate chips
Add the Chocolate Chips to one of the bowls of cookie mix
Then add red and yellow food coloring to another bowl of mix to make orange dough
Leave the other one the dough color
Place parchment paper in the the loaf pan, bottom and sides, hanging over
Put the plain dough in first and spread over the bottom of the pan (It doesn’t really matter what order you put it in the pan)
Next spread the orange dough in, don’t mix it, just put it on top of the plain dough
Then place the chocolate flavored dough in and spread it out
Place this in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours
(Don’t cut it, this is just what it should look like)
After it’s cold, lift out the paper and dough, and put it on a cutting board (that’s what I used.)
Pre-heat your oven to 375
Cut the dough in about 1/2″ strips (Like the above photo)
Then start at one corner and cut it in a zig zag
Once you get them all cut up, place them on an Ungreased cookie sheet
Bake at 375 for 6 – 8 minutes until the edges are just slightly brown
