Here are some blogging tips I have come to rely on and believe in.

Blog about things you are passionate about – think about what you like to read on other blogs, what interests you and what might interest others

Redo what has been done, and make it your own – just be sure and don’t use their words

You don’t have to wait until everything is PERFECT

You don’t have to do what others think you should, just be yourself – I think this is so important, and makes for good posts

Surround yourself with other bloggers and get help when you need it – I’ve learned so much from other bloggers

Don’t sweat the small stuff, but keep track of it
-
Always proofread your work, sometimes spell check doesn’t get it right – this is crucial, I see other bloggers that have errors and it’s so unprofessional

Time management is key, prioritize what needs done here and at home – this has always been hard for me, blogging is endless, so you just have to get to a stopping point and come back later

We should all support each other – link to each other – get in Facebook Groups

Never close the door on a potential client, if it doesn’t fit now, it might later on
-
Pitch, pitch,pitch

And Last but Probably most Important, get Sleep!

Well, to get started, you need to get either Blogger or WordPress to type in. I use WordPress, that’s my preference. Then you start writing, checking out other blogs, make a fan page for your blog on FB and twitter.

Good tips. I’ve had a blog & written posts occasionally for a little over a year but never really pushed at expanding my audience beyond my FB friends. Now that I’ve become a SAHM I’ve got a bit more time on my hands. I just got sucked into the couponing/giveaway world a month ago & I’ve decided now is expansion time. Still not sure I want to go so far as make a FB Fan Page but we’ll see
