I found a site that is an awesome parenting source. The thing that drew me in was the forums. I like talking to other women that are going through the same thing I am. It can be very helpful and calming. They have sections for everything from preconception to baby to toddler and everything in between.
They have several groups you can join, for specific discussions. So if you are a first time parent or had a c-section you can find people who understand what you’re going through.
There are some great articles too. One I found very interesting was, What He Should Do Before You Get Pregnant. All men that are about to be a parent should read this. I mean, they do need to find out their role in this. Other articles include topics such as, what to do when you and your baby first get home from the hospital, and how to deal with toddlers and so many more.
Every Day Family has a guide for pregnancy, week by week. It’s very helpful to know what to expect. They also have a baby name finder. There’s videos and checklists and just about everything you need at this beautiful time in your life.
There’s a due date calculator and a gender predictor. Who knows, maybe it’ll be right.
There’s a PDF journal to download so you can keep track of your progress. That’s something to keep forever. There’s even a page to create the cutest shower invitations. You can use photos, videos, music and words. Then you just email or print them. These are totally free.
Every Day Family has contests, coupons and freebies. Todays contest was for free diapers, disposable or cloth. One other thing I really like is the EF tv! I watched it today and they were talking about fashion during pregnancy. This one is explaining how to photograph children from Warren Kosikov, a professional photographer.
The blog section is great! Mom’s write about some of their own experiences with pregnancy and children. One, I thought was interesting, was about traveling with your family. She had some good tips.
