Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights
Just a little over an hour south of Atlanta is the beautiful Callaway Gardens, home to one of the Atlanta area’s largest Christmas light displays. Wind through the displays made up of 8 million twinkling lights and then warm up in the Christmas Village with cocoa and crafts.
Tickets start at $17 for adults, $8.50 for children.

Lights of Life
Located at Life University in Marietta, lights of life is a large metro Atlanta Christmas light display viewed from the comfort of your car. Don’t forget to stop and visit Santa on the weekends! Additional activities include:
- Concession Stand – open 7 days a week
- Petting Zoo (goats) – Saturday and Sunday only – $3 per person
- Train Rides – Friday, Saturday and Sunday only – $3 per person
- Pony Rides (weather permitting) – Friday, Saturday and Sunday only – $5 per person
Sunday – Thursday pricing:
$5 per car, $20 per van
Magical Night of Lights at Lake Lanier
Lake Lanier has a nightly light extravaganza with seven miles of family-friendly light displays, pony rides, a marshmallow roast and of course, Santa. New this year is a big screen Nativity show to remind you of the true reason for the season. There is also a holiday village with marshmallow roasting, hot chocolate, ride the carnival rides and holiday ornaments for sale. Kids will enjoy pony rides, a petting zoo and temporary tattoos.
Car admission is $60 for cars or $90 for large capacity vans. Up to nine people may ride in a car, or up to 19 in a van. Holiday village activities may require an additional fee.
If you stay for the weekend, you can have breakfast with Santa for another day of holiday fun. Various all-inclusive packages are available.
Cenntennial Olympic Park Holiday in Lights
Centennial Olympic Park hosts a huge, free lights display each year. Wander through the park and enjoy thousands of twinkling lights. The park also has an outdoor ice skating rink, which costs just $10 for 90 minutes of skating time, including skate rental.
A Stone Mountain Christmas
For the holidays, Stone Mountain Park is transformed into a winter wonderland. With millions of lights, a 4D Polar Express movie, a nightly holiday parade, live shows, sing-a-longs, Santa and more. For a holiday experience within Metro Atlanta, this one truly can’t be beat. New in 2013, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster join the nightly parade.
The Christmas Adventure Pass, available for $28 or $22 for kids under 11, includes admission into the Stone Mountain Christmas event including live performances, the Snow Angel Palace, Wonderland Walkway, the Snow Angel Snowfall and Fireworks Celebration, Sing-Along Christmas Train, Nightly Christmas Parade, The Polar Express 4-D Experience, The Great Barn, Mini-Golf, plus daytime admission to Summit Skyride, Antebellum Plantation and Discovering Stone Mountain Museum. Combo passes with other attractions like Snow Mountain are also available.
