The Way Home Rescue Alliance (TWHRA) ADOPT OR FOSTER A PET
The Way Home Rescue Alliance is a 501(c)3 non-profit with the common goal of saving animals from high intake, high kill shelters in rural Kentucky that would otherwise be euthanized due to overcrowding. Volunteer, foster or adopt a pet here.
Many of these death row animals are placed in loving foster homes until they are adopted through TWHRA and go to their new forever home.
In addition, we also network with regional, northeastern, and even Canadian rescue groups in order to save more animals from the shelter than what we could accommodate through our own adoption program. We also support legislation that improves on Kentucky’s animal welfare laws, in addition to being strong advocates of spaying and neutering dogs and cats.
If you are in Kentucky maybe you will want to foster a pet from The Way Home Rescue Alliance. Or even adopt one, or just volunteer to help out.
Adopting a friend
These are just a few of the pets up for adoption at The Way Home Rescue Alliance, you can see more at their website. Or if you’d like to volunteer, all the information is on their site.
All their pets are spayed or neutered before adoption. You can also take your own pet their to have that done.
So, if you can help in any way, please just go to their site and get a hold of them.

I have never thought of volunteering and I’m not sure why I hadn’t. I love animals and think I’d love it! Thank you for sharing!
These pictures are gorgeous. We got a cat from a family a few years ago that couldn’t take care of him anymore.
Awwwww they are so cute!!! Great post!
