I’m Addicted! To Southern Charm

 

I watched Southern Charm last night, Monday, at 10/9C, on Bravo. It’s a reality show that’s so fun to watch! I won’t be missing next week, that’s for sure! I volunteered for this on Sverve!

 

At the end last night there was a cliff-hanger that I can’t wait to find out what happens!

This show has rich families, and some “about to be rich” Southern gents and ladies from Charleston, S.C.  The drama last night was about a few people, really. Thomas, he’s about 51, was being talked about by Craig and Shep. Guess why? His girlfriend is 21 years old! Her name is Kathryn, she has red hair and blue eyes and she’s really pretty. But, my goodness, 21? Craig thinks she might be a gold-digger but Shep thinks she just wants in their “circle”. I’m not really sure about this one, I can’t tell for sure if she really likes Thomas or if she’s just trying to get with the “in-crowd”.

Kathryn took Thomas to her parents’ house for dinner. I mean her father is about his age! Dinner went pretty well, then her father took Thomas in the other room for a talk. I thought oh no, this won’t be good! But, you’ll be surprised to hear what he said. He told Thomas, in the past one of his relatives was married to a man 40 years older than her! So it went ok. I bet he was relieved! Plus he doesn’t know Thomas is a convicted felon!

Now there’s also Whitney, he’s in his 40’s I think. But guess where he lives? With his mother! So Cameran, his friend, is in Real Estate and she showed him this awesome house and told him he really should get his own place. He shook her hand and said it was a deal! But we’ll see! They showed his mother there, next week. She lives in an absolute mansion! Always having a drink in her hand and she doesn’t hold back on her feelings or thoughts. She referred to Whitney’s new place as “Salvation Army-ish”! lol

Last week at a dinner party Thomas had, they were all seated at the table. When Craig just had to speak out about Kathryn, while she’s sitting there, that she slept with three people in the room, within the last three weeks! Well, that was fun, I bet, for her. Later, when they’re outside she tells Thomas, “It’s just not true, I have never, ever done that”!

There’s a lot of drama with these people. Jenna and Cameran seem to be the most normal people on this show.  They’re all going up to the cabin to go hunting, the girls in one car, the boys in the other.

The cabin is from the 1800s and it’s been re-done. It’s just amazing. The men get their first, the day before the girls are coming. Since Thomas has a felony on his record, he’s not allowed to touch a gun. So he’s just going to sleep in. The rest are going hunting for a boar. But it doesn’t happen.

On the way to the cabin, the girls start asking Kathryn some really personal questions. And she says she really is ready to have a baby. And that she and Thomas really might get married. Wow! They think she’s way too young.

There’s a lot of drama in the lives of these rich, southern gents. It’s a great show and I can’t wait to watch again next Monday at 10/9C on Bravo.  Set your TV so you can watch too.
