The Best Healthy Smoothie
This smoothie is delicious and it’s healthy!
It has peanut butter, blueberries,strawberries and Almond Dream, non-dairy, low fat, made from real almonds, yogurt!
Peanut Butter has 2 g of fiber and 9 g of protein in each serving. You feel full quicker and longer, therefore, eating less. So it can help us lose weight. It has lots of vitamins and antioxidants. One study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that consuming 1 ounce of nuts or peanut butter (about 2 tablespoons) at least 5 days a week can lower the risk of developing diabetes by almost 30%.
Blueberries have one of the highest antioxidant capacities among all fruits, vegetables, spices and seasonings. Several studies indicate they’re great for memory! And they’re the cheapest fruit. They’re also known to be somewhat of an anti-inflammatory.
Strawberries are also good for us, having vitamins and minerals. They’re an excellent source of Vitamin C. Consumption of fruits rich in vitamin C helps the body develop resistance against infectious agents, and counter inflammation. They also contain very good amounts of vitamin B-6, niacin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid and folic acid. These vitamins are acting as co-factors helping the body metabolize carbohydrate, proteins and fats.
So, as you can tell this smoothie is very healthy and believe me it’s very tastey!

Ingredients
- 1 C Blueberries
- ½ C Strawberries
- 6 oz. Almond Dream Low Fat Yogurt
- 2 Tablsp. Peanut Butter
- ½ C Milk
- 1 C Ice
Instructions
- Just put all ingredients in the blender and get them all mixed and the ice chopped up.
- That's It!
- Enjoy!

Thanks, I love smoothies. I like to put a handfull of greens in there, spinach, kale and the like for added nutrients and you don’t even taste them.
