Rhubarb Strawberry Crisp

This is my favorite way to eat rhubarb and strawberries. The pie is good too though.

If you like these two fruits, you’ll like this. The crisp on the top really makes it good!

 

I couldn’t wait to taste this, so I just got some out before it cooled and blew on each bite. And wow, this is just delicious! I couldn’t stop eating it! I don’t usually eat a lot of sweets like this. But I love this so much, I ate two bowls of it!

The next time I eat a bowl of this Rhubarb Strawberry Crisp I’m going to add a dab of vanilla ice cream!

This Rhubarb Strawberry Crisp is easy to make and doesn't take too long. And it's just so delicious! It's really great with some vanilla ice cream too!

Serves: 10
Ingredients
  • 2 Cups cut-up Rhubarb
  • 2 Cups Sliced Strawberries
  • 3 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 C Sugar
  • 1½ Cups Flour
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup Butter - Softened
  • 1 Cup Oats
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat Oven to 375
  2. After cutting up both fruits, add 3 T flour, and 1 C sugar
  3. Mix well
  4. Put in 9 x 13 Baking Dish
  5. In a bowl, combine The Flour, Brown Sugar, Butter and Oats
  6. I mixed this with a fork and a spoon, to get the butter well incorporated.
  7. Put the topping on the fruit
  8. Bake for 35 mins.
  9. Then ENJOY!

  6. I’ll have to show this recipe to my husband and see if he thinks he would like it. My husband absolutely loves rhubarb. He had it all growing up because they grew it in their garden on their farm. I keep forgetting to plant it for him, every year. It’s hit-and-miss at our grocery stores, so we usually get it at the farmer’s market, which he likes much better anyway.
