Ripley’s Believe It Or Not’s New Book
If you haven’t seen this, you should! There’s a lot of amazing records in this book.
Ripley’s Believe It Or Not’s New Book would make a perfect Christmas present!
Reality Shock is the new 2015 world record’s book from Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! The fantastic photography shows the weird, interesting records that people have set. There’s animals in here that do things and are mutated (but ok).
People from all around the world have shared their record-setting stunts and traditions. There’s just unbelievable, but true, stories in here. There’s a mouse that rides a skateboard. There’s a lady that has the widest hips, and so many amazing photos and things to read in here! Wait until you see how wide her hips are!
A couple years ago I got my son one of these and our whole family enjoyed it. It’s so fun to go through it together and laugh at some of the photos and read together. This book is definitely for all ages!
Did you know there was a thing called the Lobster Claw Syndrome that people are born with? I had never heard of such a thing before this book. And wait until you see what happened to some cars! (I don’t want to spoil the surprises).
The food section is really cool! There’s some cakes (they don’t look like cakes) and some other things that you just can’t hardly believe. When I started reading this book, I had to force myself to put it down, and get some work done in my house. You just want to read and see everything once you start.
It’s really something what some people can do with their bodies. This photo (above) is just one of the weird body distortions I saw in here.
Robert Ripley started this by traveling to 201 countries in 35 years. He was a cartoonist, explorer, reporter, adventurer, and collector. He went out seeking the odd, the unusual, and the unexplained. He said the most unusual thing he saw was man! He was nicknamed “The Modern Marco Polo”, and in his endless search for unbelievable stories to draw in his immensely popular newspaper cartoon feature, he acquired hundreds of exotic artifacts from around the world.
There’s so many awesome photos in here, I can hardly stop posting them. But this is the last one.
In 1933 over 2 million people visited Ripley’s first “Odditorium” at the World’s Fair in Chicago.
I would recommend buying this book for Christmas, birthdays and anytime gifts. It really is fun and educational, on some levels. I know anyone, at any age, will love this! Right now you can And you get the hardback copy! It comes out on Sept. 9th.

Amazing ‘coffee-tale’ book…. Unreal the length some people will go to to have their name in the ‘record Bible’!

Wow this book sounds interesting at time when it was on television, there were facts that I could not watch, I still have a problem with eating weird things, but my grandsons love the books and this might be an idea for Christmas and the newest book to go into our library (the bathroom) for all to read and scan, thank you for sharing this book with us.
