Grateful Children Equals Happy Children
Teach your children to have positive views of their world.
They can keep a journal of all the positive things in their life with the
I Heart Gratitude Journal.
If we teach our children to be grateful for what they have, think how much happier they would be. And to grow up that way, being grateful, they would have a good self-image and be happy, as adults.
Well, now you can get a 60-day journal, and have them write down what they’re grateful for. Parenting can be easier, your relationship with them can be stronger, and they can be happier.
The I Heart Gratitude Journal has instructions and pointers for getting started. It has a title page for their picture, name, date and some fun facts. You can guide them through, encouraging self-worth, thoughtfulness and to open discussions. There’s a lot of space to write their thoughts in, practice handwriting, and encourage them to be artistic. This is perfect for Pre-K through 2nd grade.
They would learn to be grateful for what they have and not always upset because they can’t have something. And learn that sometimes they have to wait or just use what they have. They become well-adjusted to their life and have a positive attitude.
We could all live in a much nicer world, if we all grew up being thoughtful and grateful. And when those teenage years get here, they would be much easier to live with. Because they would understand that they have a lot to be grateful for. It would also make them be thoughtful of others.
As adults, we know that being grateful and thankful for what we have makes us much more thoughtful and happy. So why not start teaching our children to do this, at a young age? The point of keeping a journal of this sort, is to give our kids the power of living grateful and to experience joy deep inside.
I gave my granddaughter one and she just loves it! She feels like a “big girl” having her own journal. And she’s really coming around and seeing what I mean about being grateful for what she has. And she sometimes even talks about how she has more than some of the kids in her class. (3rd grader).
This journal would make a perfect gift for any occasion. Kids that age are going to love having their own space to put their thoughts on. With Christmas coming up, this would make a wonderful, fun, inspiring present for kids. You can purchase these at I Heart Gratitude.
