Italian Tiramisu Recipe
This is my favorite dessert now!
Italian is the absolute best!
I’ve seen this before in several different places online and in stores. Now I know what it tastes like! It is just amazing! Italian desserts are the best! I love Italian!
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do! I’ll be making this a lot more I’m sure! Just follow the directions and it will turn out delicious!

This Italian Dessert is just amazing! All the flavors just blend so good together! I love this!

Ingredients
- The Coffee Dip:
- 1 -1/2 C Espresso Coffee
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- The Filling:
- 4 egg yolks
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup Marsala wine (Optional)
- 1 lb. Mascarpone cheese - room temperature
- 1-1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- The Base:
- 10 oz savoiardi (ladyfinger cookies) (approximately 40)
- 2 tablespoons bitter cocoa powder
Instructions
- Prepare a strong espresso coffee, about 1½ cups
- Dissolve 2 teaspoons of sugar in the coffee when the coffee is still hot.
- Let the coffee cool to room temperature.
- Beat the egg yolks in a heat proof bowl or in the bowl of a double boiler until they become fluffy.
- Beat in sugar and wine (if used)
- Transfer the bowl over a pan of simmering water,
- whisk until the cream thickens, just before it boils, when small bubbles appear.
- Mash the mascarpone cheese in a bowl with a rubber spatula until creamy.
- Add the beaten egg yolk mixture into the mascarpone cheese and beat to mix well.
- Whip the cream.
- Fold it in.
- Lightly soak the ladyfingers in the coffee, one at a time.
- Place them in one layer in a container about 12 x 8 inches, approximately 2 inches deep.
- Spread half of the mixture on top of ladyfingers.
- Repeat the step with a second layer of ladyfingers
- Sprinkle Cocoa on top.
- Refrigerate 3-4 hours
- ENJOY!
