Green Apple Tart Recipe
Don’t you love the taste of green apples? This is so good with the tart taste of those with the sugar and cinnamon.
This is easy to make and somewhat healthy. I mean, it does have apples in it!

This Green Apple Tart Recipe is easy to make and so delicious!

Ingredients
- 2½ lbs. (about 6 large) tart Green Apples, peeled, thinly sliced
- 2 Tablesps Lemon juice
- ¼ C Granulated Sugar
- ⅓ C Brown Sugar
- ½ C Flour
- ½ teasp Cinnamon
- ¼ C (1/2 Stick) Butter, Softened
- 1 Unbaked 9" Pie Crust
Instructions
- Toss together apples, lemon, and granulated sugar. Set aside.
- Place all remaining ingredients, except pie crust, in mixer bowl.
- Using the Flat beater, mix on Speed 2 until crumbly. Set aside.
- Roll out pie crust into a 13" circle. Transfer to baking sheet (It's ok if crust hangs over edge a little)
- Gently mound apples in center of pie crust, leaving a 2" border of dough on all sides.
- Sprinkle apples with cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Fold pastry up over filling, pleating as necessary to fit snugly around apples.
- Gently press dough to filing, reinforcing shape.
- Bake at 400 degrees until pastry is golden brown and apples are tender, for about 30 minutes. Col tart on baking sheet on wire rack 10 minutes.
- Serve warm.
