8 Time Management Blogging Tips
I have learned some things about time management for blogging along the way. So I thought I’d share with all of you!
If you have any questions, feel free to comment.
One way I save time when I’m writing is to use the JetPack Publicize Plug-In. When I hit “publish” it automatically goes to all the social media platforms I have set up. That way I don’t have to take the time to go promote on all of them. I love this one, it’s really nice to have.
I have a Daily Planner I write in every day. I keep track of all my posts, sponsored posts, reviews, giveaways and everything, in this. That way when I start working I just look on that page and see what’s up for that day. So nothing gets behind and believe me, that saves time. You don’t want to get behind on things that are due.
To make sure you don’t have to look through all your comments, you can use Askimet, the plug-in. It separates your spam from the real comments you’ll want to approve and have on the post. This saves a lot of time. Although I have to say, I do find some good ones in the spam sometimes. But I just scroll through real quick and look at who they’re from.
Another thing you can do, is, when you go to put your link to your post on networks, like BlogHer, MommyBlogs and others, open all of them at the same time. Then copy and paste the title into each one. Then, the body, etc. and do the same thing, going to each page to paste. That way they all get done quicker. If you’re not a member of those, you should join. There’s a lot of learning, sharing and sponsored post opps. Also, if you’re a pet blogger, you could join BlogPaws.
When I’m doing a review, I take pictures as I use the item. And I jot down notes on how it does. That way you don’t have to go back and take pictures later. Plus you want to have some photos of using the item, if possible. Then when you go to write the review you already have some notes and pictures.
If you join some Facebook groups that are in your niche, you’ll get shares. So that saves some time plus gets your posts more exposure. I love those! You can make some great friends that way too. They might have some time saving tips, too.
If you pitch companies for reviews, you could have the email all written up and saved in Drafts. Then just tweek it to fit each place you pitch. That’s what I do and it saves time, so I don’t have to write a new email each time.
I also have my disclosure all written and saved in Pages, so whenever I need that I just have to copy, paste into the post. I have my signature attached to that too.
I hope you got some good tips from here and some that help you out! Thank you for stopping by! There’s more tips at the top of this page.

Those are some really great tips about blogging! I will have to check out the JetPack Publicize Plug-In for my blog I just started. It would be very convenient to have my posts published to different sites all at once.
